Wallcoverings - What's Right For Your Home?
Wallcoverings can be paint or wallpaper and even tapestries. The latter are about the only wallcoverings they had in the old days because you couldn't paint or wallpaper a mud wall or even a castle wall made from stone. Tapestries also used to help insulate drafty old buildings from the wind. Today's wallpapers range from exotic to plain and simple and they can be made form paper or silk or even bamboo or reeds. Some wallpaper is textured an has a raised surface or even golden inserts. Other wallcoverings are made from cloth some of the time and you can make a few of these yourself by covering pieces of foam or wood with quilt batting or foam then stapling fabric over the top. This also makes a terrific bulletin board as well. Some headboards are made this way. Really, wallcoverings are whatever you want them to be, beyond the under-laying drywall or wood that is! Save time, energy and most of all - costs, by shopping online at this easy to navigate site. You may find simply everything you're looking for!
